Teaching Philosophy:

I always believe in creating an inclusive and engaging teaching & learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to reach their full potential. My teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking, practical application, and active participation, fostering a deep understanding of the subject. I strive to connect theoretical concepts with real-world examples, encouraging students to relate their learning to practical scenarios.

As a business analytics Professor, my teaching pedagogy shows students how data can assist decision-making, contribute to strategy development, and help an organization perform better. Practical problems, real-life business situations, and data-driven challenging activities are shared with students to help them think "beyond" their comfort zone to find the optimal solution. Similarly, the activities and class discussions I facilitate encourage students to connect the field of study and other disciplines. My core objective as a statistician is to promote data literacy to become curious and motivate students to develop their ability to read, work, utilize, and argue data differently. Continuous feedback and a supportive atmosphere are central to my philosophy, ensuring that each student receives the guidance and encouragement needed to succeed academically and professionally.
