OVERVIEW
Dr.Soumyabrato Bagchi studied Social Anthropology at the University of Calcutta (B.Sc.,M.Sc.) and received Ph.D. in Public Policy and Management from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 2020. After receiving the doctoral degree, he worked as a Consultant Post-Doctoral Research Assistant in a GCRF small project with Cardiff University, UK. Also, he worked as a Visiting Faculty at IIM Calcutta. Soumyabrato’s research interests include interplay of organizational memory and everyday politics, local governance, and economic and social problems in Indian border towns.
