He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from BIT MESRA and MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
He is currently a Professor of Information technology and Leadership development in VPSM at Mumbai. His career path has moved in organizations like Tata Steel, PwC, HCL, Ispat Industries, Ranbaxy and Welspun Group in India with Senior Management Positions (Global CIO/CHRO and similar positions) in all companies with global presence and multi geographical and multi-cultural environment. His expertise is in Business transformation through technology (managing the RUN, GROW & TRANSFORM), Change Management & Cultural integration cutting across geographies and countries.
He is also into Leadership coaching as a CEO Coach and is a Senior Certified Power coach certified by CLI International, Canada.
He is also a certified coach by Marshall Goldsmith in Stakeholder centered coaching and Global leader of the future. He is also a certified master practitioner of NLP from Richard bandler’s institute.
He has been in Top management leadership role handling Business strategy, HR and IT and spent 18 years in IT (Inclusive of additional charge of 5 years in HR, Re-engineering and organizational transformation at global level in 29 countries), 9 years in Marketing (Including new product launches, marketing & sales) and 7 years in Manufacturing (including shop floor experience) and 8 years as a professor in academics.
He has developed and executed the HR & IT Strategy for four manufacturing conglomerates (with five different industry verticals) with presence in multiple geographies, product lines and customer base and has driven organizational change through those initiatives and provided leadership and vision to SAP, BPR,KM, TQM,SCM,CRM,HCM initiatives in organizations worked for (in India and overseas) in the MNCs. Has been responsible for Creation of Shared services, Program and portfolio management capabilities, Process improvement & automation and corporate governance within the group companies.
