- Learning Through Case Studies:
At VPSM, the learning pedology used through case study methods to make learning an experience not to be forgotten. Almost all the courses have multiple sessions planned for case studies. This method helps students to understand the concepts by discussing real-life decision scenarios faced by the organizations/executives etc. The faculty leads the discussion and encourages active participation from all the students. This helps students to learn from their peers who adds to discussion their own experiences. The discussions helps students to learn key managerial skills like analytical thinking, listening and persuasion. On an average every student of PG and UG undergoes 50+ case studies or caseletsof real managerial situations during their program.
- Learning in Group Study:
Our courses have incorporated group evaluation component in all the subjects. The evaluation will be based on group submission, project, exercise etc. Working on group projects, helps students to learn from one another, helps build team building skill etc. At VPSM faculty conducts group presentations, quizzes etc, this not only works as evaluation exercise to check students learning but a learning opportunity for students to learn from their peers.
- Learning from Practical Exercises:
At VPSM, students are given training on various applications along with other pedagogical tools. Courses like Quantitative methods are taught with spreadsheets that improve student engagement as they are actively involved in the learning process. The use of spreadsheets also makes students more employable as their productivity increases.
- Learning from Guest Lectures:
At VPSM, we invite practicing professionals from the industry to deliver Guest Lectures and Webinars session to provide students with latest happening in their industries. Most courses have couple of sessions delivered by the industry experts.
- Learning through Learning Management System
At VPSM, state of art software access is given to students in the form of TCSIoN. Faculty uses vital classroom resources such as lesson plans, notes and audio lessons, videos and assignment details. Also, each faculty uploads education material on the system for students to access it at their convenience or if any student is missed the class due to illness or any other reasons can learn from the uploaded content and make up for the missed session.
