Prof. Kumar Shreshtha has graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He worked for Essar Steel Ltd for 6 years post his engineering in projects, operations and then sales functions. He pursued his MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur (GMP) with a special focus in marketing area for a year. He worked in senior management roles post his MBA for 3 years

After 9 years of industrial experience in different roles and functions, Prof Kumar delved into academia and pursued PhD from IIM Calcutta on “informal markets” in Marketing area and successfully completed it. He worked as guest faculty for 3 months in LNMI, Patna and since Jun 2022, he has been working as an Assistant Professor in VPSM.

Prof. Kumar has attended three international conferences, published a case study and a book chapter with Springer.
